We are seeking an Associate Analyst with specific experience covering the materials, energy and industrials sector to support the global portfolio management team. These strategies invest across market caps and a variety of sectors.  Primary responsibilities include:

 

  • Performing fundamental research on domestic and international companies
  • Monitoring domestic and international markets and companies to identify trends and events which may impact outcomes
  • Evaluating weighting changes of existing holdings and new investment ideas
  • Presenting recommendations to the firm’s Portfolio Managers

 

The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated interest in investment management.  Candidates should have 2-5 years prior experience investing in the equity markets with specialist sector expertise (ie industrials, energy, materials) and strong accounting/finance skills. We are seeking high impact individuals who are able to think independently, make decisions quickly, and have the confidence and drive to be successful. Progress toward a MBA/Master’s degree and/or CFA is preferred.

Driehaus seeks a Private Equity intern to assist with investments into privately held companies, real estate assets and private equity funds. The successful candidate must be a detail-oriented, mature, self-motivated, focused individual with exemplary communication skills.  Responsibilities will include modeling, analyzing and due diligence for investment opportunities.

 

Qualifications:

 

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or other related fields.  At least 2 years experience working in private equity, corporate finance or investment banking is required.  Experience with the management of all aspects of due diligence and financing, including consultations with outside advisors, meetings with management, and discussions with financing sources is necessary.  Expert knowledge of Excel and a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word & PowerPoint is required.
