*The Driehaus Active Income Fund has elected as a trader in securities to mark to market its portfolio of securities at the end of each taxable year for federal income tax purposes. The mark to market rules require a trader making the election to recognize gain or loss with respect to the securities held in connection with its trade or business of trading in securities at the end of each taxable year as if the trader had sold the securities for their fair market value on the last business day of the taxable year. Any gain or loss recognized on such deemed sales or on any actual sales of the Fund’s portfolio securities will be treated as ordinary income or loss. Consequently, Driehaus Active Income Fund will not have either short-term or long-term capital gains.
