(May 1, 2008) The Firm launched the Global Growth Strategy.   The Strategy seeks to maximize capital appreciation and invests primarily in equity securities of both U.S. and non-U.S. companies exhibiting strong growth characteristics. Under normal market conditions, the Strategy primarily invests in common stocks and other equity securities, including preferred stocks, both within and outside the U.S., whose market capitalization is greater than $1.0 billion at the time of investment, although the Strategy may invest in companies with lower market capitalizations if market conditions suggest doing so will help the Strategy achieve its objective.

 

 

(May 1, 2008) Chad Cleaver was named Assistant Portfolio Manager for the Emerging Markets Growth Strategy and supports Mr. Schwab with investment research, security selection and portfolio construction.

 

 

(May 1, 2008) David Mouser  was named Co-Portfolio Manager of the International Small Cap Growth Strategy and collaborates with Mr. Schwab on investment research, security selection and portfolio construction. Mr. Mouser was the Assistant Portfolio Manager for this Strategy from September 2005 to April 2008.
