Thomas Seftenberg is responsible for developing and executing distribution strategies in support of the organization’s strategic business plan. He specifically focuses on the areas of investor relations, ex-U.S. sales, product management, product development and all aspects of marketing communications. As a member of the firm’s business management committee he functions as a strategic business advisor regarding key organizational and management issues. He has over 26 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Prior to joining Driehaus Capital Management in 1999 he worked with Heller Finance, Inc. as a leveraged finance associate in the corporate finance group. Prior to that he was an investment banking associate in the structured finance group at Nomura Securities International, Inc. He began his career at The Northern Trust Company where, at the time of his departure, he was a relationship manager and bank officer in the private banking group. Mr. Seftenberg received his B.A. in political science from Wittenberg University in 1991 and completed his M.B.A. in finance and marketing from the University of Chicago in 1998. He holds the Series 3, 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
