Thomas McCauley, CFA, is a portfolio manager for the Driehaus Event Driven strategy. He is responsible for investment research, security selection and portfolio construction.

Mr. McCauley has 17 years of industry experience as an investor and has been a senior member of the Driehaus Alternative Investment team for 9 years. Prior to joining Driehaus Capital Management in 2013, he was an investment analyst for Chicago Fundamental Investment Partners, a hedge fund focused on investing in special situations, where he conducted fundamental research on the consumer and healthcare industries. Prior to this role, Mr. McCauley worked as an associate at Merit Capital, a private equity firm, and began his career as an analyst focused on corporate debt underwriting and merger and acquisition advisory at ABN AMRO bank.

Mr. McCauley earned a B.S. in management from Tulane University, majoring in accounting and finance, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. He is a CFA
charterholder.
